My apps aren’t locking

In Iron Rod, open Settings > Blocking > Apps to block. Make sure Screen Time access is turned on and you’ve chosen at least one app. If Study only is on, blocking is off.

How do I earn time?

Tap each verse as you finish reading it, or turn on Mark by chapter to mark a whole chapter at once. If you move faster than the passage can be read, Iron Rod asks you to slow down before it credits you.

I just want to read the scriptures

Turn on Settings > Study only. Nothing is blocked and no time is earned, and the apps you chose are remembered if you switch back.

How do I stop Iron Rod blocking apps?

Turn on Study only, or remove the apps under Settings > Blocking > Apps to block. You can also take away Iron Rod’s Screen Time access in your iPhone’s Settings > Screen Time.

Why is there no narration for the Doctrine and Covenants?

There is no public-domain recording of it yet, so it’s text only for now.

Is my reading private?

Yes. Iron Rod has no account and collects nothing. Read the privacy policy.
