Application Development
Applications we build for the public and publish ourselves — released on the App Store, priced, supported and improved as businesses in their own right.
An app here is not a deliverable handed to someone else. It is a product we own: we decide what it costs, we answer the support mail, we read the reviews, and we write the next version. Nobody signs it off but us.
That ownership changes how the thing gets built. When you are the one who will still be carrying it in three years, you make different decisions about the data model, the onboarding, and the features that are cheap to add now and ruinous to add later.
It is also where our standards get set. The two practices below are run by people who have shipped to strangers and lived with the result.
